Wareham Rotary Club recently held a charity Race Night at the Furzbrook Village Hall in aid of the Rex Cinema projector fund. Club vice-president Derek Collins (left) presentied a cheque for over £1,200 to Dr David Evans, chairman of the Rex Cinema Trust.

On March 10th over 90 guests attended our annual Daffodil party for the elderly residents of Wareham, where they enjoyed games of bingo, followed by a sumptuous afternoon tea. The afternoon ended with a sing-a-long with the fabulous Land Girls. Our thanks to Wareham Lions, Warham Disabled Association and Wareham MS Society who helped to transport some of the less mobile guests to the event.
